Overview

The brutal elder brother of Cassius, Karnus is a Bellona through and through — a sadistic warrior who hunts Darrow across the war for his brother Julian's death.

Background

Karnus won the final battle of the Academy against Darrow, with the Sovereign's covert help, and pursued the blood feud with House Augustus relentlessly. He died aboard the Sovereign's ship, cut down by Darrow himself.

Personality

Cruel, arrogant, and steeped in Gold notions of honor and strength, Karnus believes the universe is a hierarchy of predators — and he intends to stand at the top.
