The Protean Knight and the Sovereign's chief bodyguard, Aja is the most dangerous sword in the Society — a colossal killer trained by Lorn au Arcos himself.

Background

Aja is the eldest daughter of Magnus au Grimmus and one of the Sovereign's three Furies. As the Protean Knight, she served as Octavia's bodyguard and enforcer — wounding Quinn in Golden Son and slaying Ragnar on Mars in Morning Star. She fell in a final stand defending the Sovereign at the Fall of Luna, killed by Sevro.

Personality

Fiercely loyal to Octavia, Aja is cold, relentless, and utterly without mercy. She fights with a predator's grace and a killer's certainty — the weapon the Sovereign keeps for the enemies she cannot forgive.
