The Sovereign of the Society and ruler of the Morning Throne, Octavia is the architect of the war against the Rising — a tyrant who believes the Color hierarchy is the only thing holding civilization together.

Background

Octavia seized the throne by beheading her own father and presenting it to the Senate, then ruled for sixty years. She groomed her grandson Lysander to succeed her and hunted the Sons of Ares without mercy. She fell at the Fall of Luna, stabbed by Darrow in her underground bunker as her empire crumbled around her.

Personality

Cold, patient, and utterly convinced of her own rightness, Octavia plays games within games. She sees humanity as raw material to be sorted and ruled — and she does not forgive those who threaten her order.
